Homemade face masks that don't break the bank balance

Homemade face masks and homemade spa treatments are easy to create out of general stuff you probably already have in the house, so why pay all that money at expensive day spas when you can have home spa.

Natural beauty recipes are much cheaper then expensive name brand cosmetics and, what’s more, natural beauty recipes will probably give you a much better home spa day result and cost less than expensive mass market treatments.

Let’s get started with some home spa recipes. As you probably already know, skin care is important. Your skin is made up of many layers and tissues, each with certain requirements depending on your age. The most important thing is energy from sugars in natural things like honey and different fruits. Next in line are triglycerides, which are present in things like milk and coconut oil.

Lecithin (phospholipid) is also important, and can be found in egg yolk and vegetable oils.

Fruit acids (alpha hydroxy acids) and phytochemicals (present in plants) have specific effects on your skin and that is why the better masks for your skin supply energy, vitamins and other naturally occurring substances.

Vitamin Intake is also Important for Healthy Skin

Vitamins also play a huge part in your skin and its health and integrity. Vitamin A, vitamin B and vitamin E play an important role in the rejuvenation and maintenance of your skin, so it’s a good idea to have a balanced diet, too.

A balanced diet should be an important component in your home spa regime. Beauty treatments are a lot of fun, but if you aren’t taking good care of yourself on the inside, it will have a detrimental effect on your skin, no matter what you put on the outside.

Make Your Own Homemade Face Masks:

A Simple Cream Face Mask

1 Tablespoon of Cream ( Milk Cream ) 1 Tablespoon of Honey 1 gram of Baking Soda

Mix the baking soda and the cream until it turns to a foam, then add honey and mix. Apply to your face and neck for 20 minutes.

Or, try this coconut recipe

2 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil 1 Egg yolk 1 Tablespoon of Honey 1 Tablespoon of Yogurt 1 Teaspoon of Sugar

Mix everything together and then process in a blender. Smooth the mix over your skin and leave it on for 25 minutes, then wash using warm water followed with a splash with cold water.

Try Peas and Carrots in your homemade face masks

2 Tablespoons of Peas 1 Tablespoon of Evening Primrose Oil 1 Tablespoon of Yogurt 1 Tablespoon of Grape Seed Extract ½ cup Carrot juice

Just mix everything together in a blender and then smooth onto your face for 30 minutes. Wash it off using warm water and then splash with some cold water.

One of the best natural beauty recipes for smooth skin

½ over-ripe Banana ½ over-ripe Avocado 1 Tablespoon of chopped Cucumber 1 Tablespoon of Yogurt 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil

Mix all of the ingredients together and then process them in a blender. Apply a thick layer and leave it on for around 30 minutes. Wash with warm water then splash with some cold water to freshen up.

Homemade face masks are great fun to make and often a good way to make use of over-ripe food that would otherwise be thrown away.
