Cheap Ways to Create a Home Spa Experience: Budget Home Spa Part II
There are so many ways to create a home spa experience and lots of them are very low cost. While you may not have the same feel of a Japanese Onsen, home spa is still a special way to relax. The spa experience is all about being able to let go of all your cares and worries and to fully absorb all of the gifts that nature has to offer. The healing qualities of herbs, flowers, and other ingredients are best received by open minds that are willing to absorb all of their healing and soothing qualities. That way, the physical touch of a massage, a relaxing body rub, or a long soak in a spa, can be enjoyed, savored and remembered for some time. Budget Home Spa Part I In part one of this article I discussed ways to create a home spa mood using the lighting effects of candles and lamps. It’s so easy to do and the end results are perfect for relaxing all your stress away. I also talked about a little bit of DIY aromatherapy, although if you want to spend some money (on yourself or maybe a friend) aromatherapy candles are a perfect idea. You can find them on ebay or any number of specialty candle stores. For a look at one of the easiest home spa recipes you will ever see, click here. All you will need are a few ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen right now. Treat Yourself to Wonderful Colors as you Create a Home Spa Experience The colors that surround you will affect the way you feel considerably. Colors are used in many forms of retail and in different restaurants to enhance your feelings and encourage you to enjoy yourself. Red, orange and gold colors tend to stimulate a person’s appetite. Whereas pink promotes relaxation, which is what we are looking for as we relax in a soothing home spa. It doesn’t have to be a shade of pink that you find harsh, rose, pastel, peach, coral, and salmon shades of pink will all be very suitable.

Relax Amid Soothing Sounds and Soft TunesThe next thing to do is to look at some soothing music for your home spa experience. Soft, relaxing music that is conducive to relaxation helps to set the kind of mood you need to spoil yourself. On the other hand, maybe you prefer silence. It can be whatever calms you. It can pay to try investing in a few relaxation compact discs or New Age recordings. If you don’t wish to outlay too much money right now (I haven’t forgotten the title of my own article already) you can try borrowing some compact discs from your local library, or downloading a music sample to consider before you do buy. And in Conclusion Comfortable surroundings are imperative for a quality home spa experience. Whatever your preference is, you need to create a setting that is both pleasing to you and yet offers the privacy you need to relax. There’s no exact science about creating a home spa experience, it’s more about experimentation and learning as you go.
